Shirts n' stuff.

I'm burning screens tomorrow and printing will (read: SHOULD) be done by Tuesday if everyone brings me a shirt tomorrow. Preferably NOT BLACK OR GRAY, guys cause those are the colors I'm using to print these bad boys. If anyone needs a shirt/can't get one I have a couple of shirts I bought for a printing project that failed miserably (read: I am not the best at silkscreen so bear with the technical difficulties I may have).

Anyway, bring shirts tomorrow.

MUSIC

here's an idea

http://www.garageband.com/artist?|pe1|WszTMELdsaSkZVa1Y2s

should just be able to stream it from that page. the school network sucks, so i can't tell if its working properly or not.

this is just a section of a longer piece. if you guys have any qualms about sound quality or the general feeling of it, let me know.

Derp.

Guys, I forgot everything you showed me in Illustrator. But I'll get those 3 posters we have done printed and I'll get the screens for the t-shirts burned Tuesday. I could start printing Tuesday during class, so if you guys wanna bring your t-shirts feel free.

What else do we need? Fleet graphics and packaging?

Steve's Bottle Labels

So here's what i got. Tried the whole "just swap out the picture and text! It's that easy!" approach. Blogger may fuck up the thumbnails, but you'll get the idea...

Oh god. They look better than that, seriously. Hopefully clicking on them will show the original image.

In other news, Ryan and I shot the commercial today. I should have the music recorded as well as a rough edit done by tuesday.

If i don't die doing it.

EDIT: Fuckin Blogger made my jpegs look shitty, so i made them smaller and uploaded them someplace else. Hopefully this works better.

EDIT 2: Okay, they were TOO small. Here are some better ones.

LAST SEMESTER

this was part of the "winning" design from last semester. Whatever that means. Seems a bit arbitrary to me. I have more stuff, I'll bring it in tomorrow.

Dude, what?

This is some crap I've made. I'm being kind of stubborn about this old tymey theme we had because I really think it'd good...we just have to mess around with it. Anyhoo. Further discussion tomorrow, I guess?

Okay so:

Here we are: some stuff I did today so y'all can look
at it and tell me how awesome i am:

Commercial Storyboards: General Look

Commercial Storyboards: Final Frame Compositions

and here's a poster idea.

and here's why it's funny:

I printed out a copy of the poster to hang up on Thursday. If you guys like it, i may need one of you photoshop wizards to help me make it not look shitty.

Initial logo-type and color swatch concepts

OUR CREATIVE WORK PLAN

key fact:
relaxed liquor laws have allowed the underdogs to enter into the market. the micro-brewery market is a booming one.

consumer issue:
until now, there has only been one good local craft beer (Boulevard.) now, you have a choice. the demographic is developing a more mature taste and is ready for a more sophisticated beer.

advertising objectives:
raise brand awareness, direct to a website, and sustain brand loyalty.

strategy:
1) appeal towards the intellectual, educated, and culturally sophisticated beer drinker.

2) position ourselves against our competition (Boulevard) and do a better job appealing to the audience.

3) promise that Free State is your brand of beer and it is going to taste goooooooood.
